The Results Are In – I have Lyme Disease!

Hello there,

So…I know this has been quite a long time in coming but I’m finally going to talk about the results of all the tests I had done at Breakspear.

The long and the short of it is that, after 4 long years of endless appointments, dozens of doctor, and a many many tears, I have finally been diagnosed with Lyme Disease. I also have two chronic viral infections, and two fungal infections in my gut.

Obviously all this is a huge amount to take on board, which is why I’ve waited so long to talk about it, I actually got these results about a month ago, and have spent it talking to doctors and nutritionalists about the best way forward in terms of treatment.

I’ve done a video all about and in it, I got into much more detail about everything, you can watch that here.

My tablets arrived yesterday and my oh my are there a lot of them…and this is only for the first month! haha.

Although I’ve been detoxing for about a week, today was my first actual day of treatment. I’m so glad to finally feel like I’m really doing something to make myself better. I’m finally moving forward, and although it’s going to be a difficult road, I’m finally on the right one, after all this time.

Until next time, Rhosyn.

  1. I’m so pleased that you have more information about your health, I’m a firm believer in getting all of the facts. I can understand that this must be so overwhelming for you to digest! I was on the antibiotic lymecycline for about two months for my acne at the beginning of this year, and it is the most my symptoms have ever improved. I have stopped taking the antibiotic now and have stopped improving, to me this is a sign that I might also have chronic Lyme disease, along with the fact that everyone that I know who has ME has tested positive for Lyme disease, there is definitely a link! I really hope that your treatment goes well, I would love it if you could keep doing the vlogs, it is so helpful! Obviously you have to put your health first, maybe a monthly or bimonthly update, to let us know how you are getting on. It sounds like you are in safe hands! Xx

  2. Glad you finally found out that you have Lyme Disease. I finally got diagnosed last year. I didn’t accept many things I was told. Once you read more about Lyme Disease you will learn how many diseases are actually from the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi and other co-infections. Good luck on your healing journey. Thanks for sharing!

  3. It’s great to have more information and I hope that you will find this treatment to be very successful!! I’ve always wondered if my fibromyalgia might be associated with something like Lyme disease. I’ve never been tested and not sure why not. I feel happy for you to have this info and tools to treat the infections! Hopefully you really will feel much, much better! Please do keep us posted. I’d be curious to know more about the diet and supplements they put you on.

  4. Hi Rhosyn, I came across the link to your post over at Donna Grant’s February Stars where she posted about Lyme. I was also diagnosed with late stage Lyme this past March. I can identify with your story. I hope you are doing well with your treatments. I have been extremely sick with my own treatments, but am hopeful for remission in the coming years. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your story. It always is a huge help to me when I read/hear about others and their Lyme journey. Best wishes, Valerie
